Here are the most common pre-member questions:
There are two levels of CFIs in our flying club.
The first level is a Member CFI – if you are a CFI or CFII, and you wish to give instruction to other club members, you are welcome to as long as you are a member in good standing with the flying club. You just need to let a Board Member know that you are actively instructing another club member.
The Second level is a Club Checkout CFI – you must be a CFI and member in good standing with the flying club, and there must be a need for checkout instructors with the club. If you have met these requirements, you are welcome to reach out to our Chief Instructor Pilot to determine if there is a need. If there is a need and you are selected, you must go up on a CFI checkout with the Chief Instructor Pilot to get signed off on club checkout policies.
