PRESIDENT
Christy joined the flying club in early 2017, bought the Warrior, and became the President in 2018. She obtained most of her ratings through AVFC and is now an airline captain!
Nick Olson
VICE PRESIDENT
Nick joined AVFC in 2019 and is the co-owner of the club's Cardinal. He considers himself the most uninteresting man on earth, although his team would disagree.
Scott Wiederhold
TREASURER
Scott joined AVFC in 2019 after not flying for almost 20 years! He knocked the rust off and got some additional ratings along the way and is now proudly serving on the Board. Some other interesting things about Scott; qualified to swim at Olympic trials, and worked for American for 27 years.
Adam Schofield
SECRETARY
Adam joined the club in 2020 due to extreme peer pressure. He's probably the only guy you know from Ketchikan, Alaska or Keokuk, Iowa.
CHAD HILL
MEMBER-AT-LARGE
Chad joined in 2022 with his son Jackson. He once got to chase camels in Saudi Arabia in a Blackhawk helicopter!
Kevin Dinsmore
CHIEF PILOT/SAFETY INSTRUCTOR
Kevin and his wife, Brittany, joined in 2017 as a husband-and-wife pilot duo. He once took a NASA Astronaut on his first GA airplane ride!
Matt Stephenson
MAINTENANCE OFFICER
Matt joined in 2020 after getting his PPL. He most recently obtained his commercial ratings, both single and multi-engine! He used to change tires in the Indy 500 and also nearly ran over Roger Penske.
Brad Mezei
AIRPLANE OWNER ADVOCATE
Brad joined in 2024 and co-owns the Cherokee 235.
He plays music professionally and has taken members of the band Earth, Wind, and Fire up for a flight in the club planes! Brad and Nick are both trumpet players. (We told you Nick wasn't uninteresting!)
